Since I started this new lifestyle 10 months ago, I have worked hard on changing my body and improving my health. I have learned to LOVE working out, when I absolutely hated it before. I have also learned to eat much better than I use to. Even tho at times it's been a struggle, I have lost weight and have gained muscle in places I never knew I could.
BUT there is still room for even more improvement....
So with that said, I have decided to take my training and diet to the next level and do a major transformation of my body!! I want a "Sexy" body I can be proud of!
And what better way to do this than to enter 2 different transformation contest where I am held accountable, and in the running for some pretty cool prizes :)
The two contest I am entering are:
Double T Sports Transformation Challenge:>http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/creadyl-no-beta-transformation-challenge-qa.htmMakeover Challenge by Oxygen Magazine:
http://www.oxygenmag.com/(I can't find the contest info on the site but it's in their new issue of "Get Off The Couch" magazine on new stands now, it's an awesome magazine by the way).
I am VERY excited to be sponsored by Steve of
http://www.fitnesspoynters.com/He has provided me with an awesome eating plan and workout routine to kick my butt in gear! Check out his website and look at what he has done for his clients. It's pretty amazing!
I think this will probably be one of the most challenging things I have ever done in my life but I am determined to make this happen! With the help of Steve and his workout and eating plan and my boyfriend Matthew, who will be my trainer in the gym and my rock during this, I know I CAN DO THIS!!
My boyfriend and I have also challenged ourselves to lose a certain % of bodyfat by the end of December and if we both reach our goals, we are going to reward ourselves with a trip to the Arnold in March. We both "REALLY" want to go so we have to make this happen!!!
I will be posting my "before" pictures very soon! I have to wear a 2pc. bathing suit! YIKES! and I can't suck it all in either so it's going to be all hanging out there for the world to see (or at least those that visit my blog, my facebook or bodyspace :) but the girl in those pictures WILL look MUCH different at the end of this contest! :)
Wish me luck!!
Here's to a healthier you (and ME),
Shelly
